Everyone loves the Toyota Supra, but most don’t talk about the older gen version. The looks aren’t as nice, and it just doesn’t have the same respect on the streets when you see one. However, I was pretty shocked at just how much power it has. Almost 800hp and it only weighs around 1200kg making this a serious car. The looks are very dated, but once you add a wing and skirts this Supra looks a lot cooler. It also has the most hilariously large rear defuser I have ever seen. It doesn’t have nice edges, or is beautifully shaped like a Ferrari’s, but instead is just a bunch of straight lines shaped to looked like a defuser and slapped onto the back. Combining the power and the looks in one package makes it an excellent drift car.
As I mentioned, it has a ton of power and doesn’t need any extra. You tap the gas and it is going to move right away. It takes the corners great and doesn’t get out of control very easily. The only thing you have to watch for is low speeds it can be twitchy. It wants to drift and is hard to drive in a straight line, but a real drifter is going to drift the straights anyway. Not the worlds best drift car, but definitely up there in the really good ones.
