In case you didn’t know what today is, it’s the 50th Anniversary for the Ford Mustang! That is right 50yrs ago today the very first Mustang was born. To celebrate it’s birthday I decided to make a tune worthy of such an event. There are many choices of Mustang’s to choose, but the BOSS 302 is in my opinion the best one. It has the most power, looks awesome, and is actually a Mustang and not a Shelby. I expected this Mustang to be kind of crazy and slow, but I was very very wrong. It handles the almost 900hp perfectly and is hard to get into trouble. It comes out to 651pp which would make it an amazing 650pp car. This car really does impress me in how well it drives. Hard to tell from the pictures, but I painted mine a special orange color with matte black rims. Definitely won’t be seeing many like that online.
A little history about the Mustang is the very first one ever bought was bought by a lady who still owns it to this day. She didn’t even realize she bought the first one ever. She got super luckily and just happened to go to the right dealership that was carrying it and bought it on April 15, 1964 which was two days before Ford president Lee Iacocca would officially unveil the car to a crowd at the World’s Fair in New York.
If you are curious as to what Ford did to celebrate they made a 2015 Ford Mustang special 50th anniversary edition car in the same two colors that the original ones were made it (white and blue). They also took one of its brand new Mustang convertibles, cut it into three pieces, stuffed it into the Empire State Building’s tiny elevator and sent it all the way up to the 86th floor. They did the same thing 50 years ago and decided to recreate it exactly. Expect with a brand new car rather than a very rare old 1964 Mustang.
