This is the car pack we have all been waiting for! Seriously, take away all other cars and just give me these and I would be happy. The new car pack that comes out today is by far the best update yet!
As mentioned in the last article, new cars, tracks, and more would be coming to Gran Turismo Sport. The official date of release was undisclosed, but today is the day! Polyphony Digital said they would be releasing many new updates, and they sure didn’t disappoint. They have already released a few other major updates, but this one, to me, is the best. I don’t care what you are doing today, you must go and download the update.

What an amazing car line up. I am not sure about you guys, but these are easily some of my top favourite cars in the world. The fact that they will all be added at once in amazing detail just blows my mind. Check the video below to see the quality of these cars. What is crazy is they said they would add 50 cars between December and March, meaning we still have a bunch of new cars to go. If you don’t like this selection, don’t worry, who knows what other amazing cars will be added next?
New Track
If that wasn’t enough, they added one of the greatest tracks of all time, Monza. This is a very famous track that has long straights, lots of interesting turns, and is a blast to drive. I use to test high HP cars here all the time in GT6, and it was sad when it wasn’t in GT Sport. However, that isn’t a problem anymore, and I am very excited to see it back.
Also, there are three new layouts for Maggiore. That will make it a total of six layouts for this track. This is a fictional track just made for Gran Turismo Sport, but has easily become one of the most popular. Of the new layouts, they have a very short variant that is barely a mile long. I am excited to try this one as it should be great for very low powered cars.
Single Player Events
Don’t think PD forgot about the single player. New events have been added to this as well. I am still happy they added the offline mode, but also disappointed you need an internet connection to save your progress. Hopefully offline saving will arrive in another future update.
- Raptor Survival (Beginner League – 3 Races)
- J-Sport Meeting (Amateur League – 3 Races)
- La Festa Cavallino (Professional League – 3 Races)
- Gr.3 Endurance Series (Endurance Leage – 3 Races)
Other than that there are various bug fixers and other minor changes you won’t notice. However, this is clearly an amazing update that I am sure many of you will love. Out of all the cars listed in this update which one is your favourite?
