I originally made a Nissan Skyline R34 tune that I thought was amazing when someone emailed me saying it works well on another car. That other car was the RUF CTR2. I tried it, and sure enough, he was right. I messed around with it a little and turned the RUF into an equal monster that the R34 was.
The RUF is much more insane to drive, and the rear can fly all over the place if you aren’t careful. The Skyline is the exact opposite to this. Its rear never slides around, and getting the tires to smoke out the corners is almost impossible. If anything, you might find yourself getting a bit of understeer if you push it really hard. The RUF is also a little lighter with a bit more HP, but the Skyline has a big spoiler that results in more downforce.
However, since both cars have basically the same HP, weight, torque, 4WD systems, and same tune, why not race them against each other? I won’t spoil the ending for you, but trust me, it doesn’t get any closer than this.
